Jacquee Scott

Student Journey Manager

I’m here to help with: engaging our educational partners in our mission, ensuring scholars have a smooth sign up and credential verification process, and advocating for our scholars as it pertains to career readiness.

As the Manager of the Student Journey, Jacqueline (Jacquee) Scott is eager to work with Business and Support Partners to equip VA Ready Scholars with career-readiness skills needed to successfully enter the workforce. Jacquee is passionate about educating and empowering individuals from a variety of backgrounds to reach the next step in their career journey. Over the last 7 years, Jacquee has advocated for individuals’ needs by serving on committees and bridging the gap between college leaders and students/graduates. In her previous positions, Jacquee worked as a leader in Student Engagement and Residence Life departments where she “met students where they were” to help them reach their fullest potential. Jacquee has been a leader in mentoring, training, and coaching individuals of all ages and abilities. As an extra bonus, Jacquee has a passion for ensuring everyone is able to access resources and spaces that would aid them in their personal and professional growth. This is evident in her previous position where she worked with individuals ages 6 – 22 with a variety of mental, emotional, learning, and physical disabilities. Jacquee has been extremely active working with the traditional and non-traditional age student population and is looking forward to being a part of a proactive service and mission focused organization.

In addition, to her work experience, she has earned her Masters in Educational Leadership with a focus on Higher Education from Old Dominion University. Go Monarchs! This has equipped her with knowledge in student development, assessment, and career development. Jacquee earned her Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences at James Madison University. Go Dukes!
